Dagger quest in Prim

After returning the dagger to where it belongs, the conversation with the thief does not allow you to tell him that you have returned it, only to say you will take his quest, which cannot be completed, or that you won't. I feel a that the options should change after completion to reflect you have finished the other quest to return it.

It could be that this quest is not finished yet.

9i had the same thing. I completed the "good side" quest of the dagger. Then i could go to the other guy say I will steal the dagger, yet I am unable to do so.
When i check my quest log, it just says that he wants it. I feel like i should be able to go back take the dagger and do the "dark side" quest aswell.

No it is definitely completed once you return the dagger. If the game still allows you to accept the 'evil' quest, then you should be able to return and get the dagger, but you can't. So either the script is wrong or the quest is bugged, but I think it's the former.

I don't think there is a bug here, but once you complete the good quest, you are not allowed to retrieve it. If you would have, on the other hand kept the dagger, you could complete the evil quest and not the good one. I think Oskar wanted us to go one way or the other...

Okay, that makes sense. It does kind of leave you hanging if you have already returned the dagger...
