I just finished the newest update and I find it fun and entertaining. I would ask if or how far from adding a big city any time soon?

We can't say any date yet. Feygard or Nor City are still some way off, so don't expect them soon. We do some preparations already but the next bigger update will contain something different - I won't reveal more though to not spoil you...

Yes. It's exactly as you interpret it. We purposely left the log there to block you from getting to Prim via the lazy woodcutter leaving the log strategically placed.
