Hello fellow adventurers,

here is a new beta release for you (v0.8.10 BWM fill)

A few weeks ago Raphi had surprised us with a bunch of maps that helps to cover the hole in the worldmap at Blackwater Mountain 8)
Thank you for the fiddly work in this area of the mountains, lovers of complete maps will appreciate it!
Mountains are among the most difficult maps, especially if there already exist maps around them, because the different heights have to match each other exactly.

Raphi has also placed a new quest there for the early midgame level, involving some of Dhayavar's existing residents.

We have fine-tuned the project and are publishing it here now:
  • Find 9 new maps filling up the Blackwater Mountain area.
  • Help a shepherd in the Mountains above Prim in the new quest "It makes no fence".
  • Again a skeleton for "Stoutford's old castle" could have been out of reach. We hope this is the last one.
  • New translations
  • And as always we've fixed some minor bugs and typos, and have embellished a few little things here and there.

Please try out this beta version of the game. Tell us, what you like or dislike, and if you have found any bugs.

Here is is the link: static/AndorsTrail_v0.8.10_beta.apk

The apk installs as a separate App where you may import any (previously exported) savegame from your productive version. Your valuable savegames can never be overwritten by a beta savegame though.

I know this is very basic. I can see the new maps, but I don't seem to able to navigate to them...
Is there a prim and proper path, or does one need to wade in waters so dark that it is black? Or does one cross over to a familiar Glen?

The maps are availabe from different sides.
go from Prim up a bit into bwm then down past Tjure the unlucky merchand. You will also find the new quest that way.
or
from the map left of the snowy hut to the north east
or
from the map north of Norry to the east
Of course these parts are not connected - you don't want a short cut after all

One spelling correction in dialog with the shepherd - the spelling of Maybe...

Results of complete testing: After checking out all the maps, completing the quest and checking out all dialogue options, haven't come across any issues apart from the one above.

Just a query please:
If in an earlier double quest, if we don't side with Tinlyn, will he still help us? 🤔
Also,
Perhaps a few of the older BW mountain maps can have a few rocks and fallen trees removed, if that does not spoil the access. Since this can be time consuming with low reward, it can be logged for a future update, maybe after Andor is found. 😊

Thank you, I just fixed the typo in six places
And yes, the quest can be done before starting lost sheep.

Could you maybe send me an image of the rocks and trees you want to have removed? I don't quite know what you mean.

That is an excellent question and idea that should probably be answered by the development team before this beta gets promoted.
