Here's another resistance idea. How about say for every 5 levels starting @ 40 +1 damage resistance is added to your stats automatically. It shouldn't matter if this is a kid or not because he is getting more experienced and battle scarred with every battle he has. And maybe a fatigue resistance would be good idea too. I spent some time in Blackwater Mountain as soon as the update was made available and I got my a$$ kicked so I had to revert to an earlier save and am still working on leveling as we speak.
Stats:
LVL 34| Exp 694829| HP 55| Attack Cost 3| AC 141%| AD 20- 25| CC 10%| CM x2| BC 72%| equipped w/ Flagstone's Pride
When equipped w/ Quickstrike Dagger: AC 140%|AD 19|BC 52%. The Fallhaven Jewel is a great item I get 3[attacks per turn with the sword & 5 per turn with the dagger!!!!
Gold 30443| Small rocks 747| RoLS :0|ELyR :0|ROL :0. Still searching for the ever elusive ring
I shouldn't have killed Vacor lol.
