That will never happen as this is a huge spoiler.
Plus, if you weren't "borrowing" someone else's save file, then you would have a better idea what quests haven't been completed/started or even found

I am not borrowing anyone's save game. These files are mine. I am choosing to share them with someone who asked for help. I have not been playing much recently, and I did quit the game for a year because I got stuck on a quest (see viewtopic.php?p=78147#p78147). My memory is not perfect when I take long breaks. But regardless, I am not borrowing these files.

I also strongly disagree that a more comprehensive quest log would be a huge spoiler. Games like Old School RuneScape have always had a quest log to show which quests are started, not started, and completed. They also show prerequisites for not-started quests. No player of runescape has ever complained about this. See https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Quest_List for example.

If I understand you correctly, you want a list of quests that haven't even been discovered by the player? If that's the case then we're not going to do it as it's too much of a spoiler.

All of the other things that you suggested that these other games you reference have would require a significant amount of work to the game engine.

I mean one thing to not spoil anything here would be to include a number of unstarted quests, this way you wouldn't know any information what the quests would be or where to start them. Same for a counter of unvisited places mabye.

That might be a problem if your choices shut you out of being eligible for certain quests. For example, if you decide not to help the thieves guild, you will have the annoyance of seeing that number of unstarted thieves guild quests, even if you completed all the quests that your character has access to.

Do you know this script? It shows the number of missing maps and quest names.
And if only a few are missing, then it also shows their names:
https://www.rg-brille.de/etc/AT/AT_checkPlaces.html

The result could look like:

Code: Select all

288 places visited (round about), 611 of 899 still unknown.
It's still a long way...

51 quests started (round about), 51 of 102 still unknown.
So many quests to do ...

I have never heard of this. Is there any way to download it for offline use?

By source, do you mean view-source:https://www.rg-brille.de/etc/AT/AT_checkPlaces.html ? Or do you mean there is a git repository somewhere?

edit: nevermind, I figured it out. I can modify the javascript code in the developer console and save it with control + s. Thank you.
