Climbing up ia forbidden help!!!!!

I told Ehrenfest i did not trust and am going solo now i dont what to do and i cannot go deeper in the cave without something to get me lower ( the cave Where you fill the water bottle from by the orange and white snakes) wheee do i go from here

You can't do the quest solo. Where you fill the bottles is not the elm mine.
Look at your quest log. What does it tell you to do?

I think you are supposed to go up the mountain to blackwater settlement in order to talk to one of the feygard military people. But you might need to talk to Jern again first.
