New quests

I'm Josh currently incarcerated. Not just myself, but other people he knows in here is obsessed with this game. He is wondering when new quests will be coming out. He would really appreciate it if you could reply to this.

The BOP controls when they make our updates available to you.
So in other words I have no idea.
We are currently working on a couple of projects but I will not give a deadline or timeline as we are a group of volunteers working in our free time.

He understands that this is open source how would someone go about your team. He knows people who would like to join. The last time andors version updated to 0.8.6.1 he said it was made available to them a week after you released it. He appreciate your getting back to him.

Do they give you access to resources like computer labs on occasion? In theory, since this is an open-source project, you could learn how to code Java, write your own quests, and become a contributor. But if the only thing you are allowed to access is a locked-down tablet, then you probably cannot do any of that.

You don't need to be a software engineer or coder or even know Java to help contribute to this project

I bring up coding since the original post mentioned quests, which would presumably require coding to make.

I am new to the forum and relatively new to the game, and I am not a developer, so I do not know. Presumably there is no predetermined ending. According to a design outline that may or may not be outdated-

The main story of Andor’s Trail is already defined, but very broadly. Details of it is not yet decided, only a few main themes, places and things that will happen. If you want to help with making content, best would probably be to contribute with side-quests that do not affect the outcome of the main story first. Once you are comfortable with creating quests in Andor’s Trail, you are also welcome to contribute with content to the main story.

You are very welcome to contribute with side-quests that do not affect the outcome of the main story. Check with the dev team to see if someone is working on a similar quest as your idea, so that you can take advantage of work that other people have done.

And there may or may not be different endings based on the choices that the protagonist makes during the game. But I am not a developer, so I cannot speak to that.

There is also https://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?t=5026 for a proposed framework of AT in-universe history. But it is from 2015 and may very well be out of date. The devs have not posted an updated version for the public, as far as I can see.

Are there any plans cooking for nor city ? Primarily the search for andor in the games.

We are in the mists of multiple projects right now and Nor City is not one of them. But we will get to it
