Young Merchant help

So, I am stuck on this quest. I am at the dialogue of...Buthczyd is no longer dressed like a knight of Elythom. He said he is going to marry the prettiest girl in the world - she just doesn't know yet....
Well, I have talked to everyone in town, including a pretty girl, and searched many areas and haven't gone forward yet. Can I get a subtle hint on next part?

You can't finish this quest. Just move on to other things. You will meet him again... somewhere.

Ok, tks, i must've missed it not being able to be finished. Thought I checked it. Guess i will wait for another update then. Tks again for a fun and entertaining game!

He is not asking you for anything here. Step through the entire dialogue and you get your XP bonus and that's it
