I think this may be a bug. So, once you have the option "Please sell me some of your famous Cheddar cheese" you can buy twice the amount sold by the merchant of everything except cheddar cheese. Here's how it happens:

1. Talk to Khorailla.
2. Choose "Do you have anything to trade?"
3. Let's say you want to purchase Cooked Perched, and you see she has 6 of them.
4. Buy all 6 Cooked Perched.
5. Quit the shop.
6. Talk to Khorailla again.
7. Now choose "Please sell me some of your famous Cheddar cheese."
8. Now you will see another 6 Cooked Perched available for you to purchase.

You don't need to go to sleep in-between the two transactions. It works, too, if you choose the second option first.

I haven't tried with other merchants. Actually, I don't know if there is any other merchant with similar setup. However, If there is, I am assuming it may have the same exploit.

That's right, never thought of this, nice finding. But it can't be changed and it's not really critical - just unusual.
