...and we're trying to created custom 404 error page using cpanel...we've gotten to the editing part but don't know how to code...can anyone help out give advice...?
Any comments and suggestions on our forum are welcome as well

That would require someone that knows what they are doing to poke around in your website.
"Sports" is not a good term for gambling . I don't know the laws in Canada, but for gambling you should, or don't do this.
404 just means it can't find the page. So either the link is wrong, or the page does not exist.

Sports gambling and most types of gambling has been legalized for many years in America including in Canada so no worries there...and the forum isn't about just sports people can post there about whatever they want really not just sports or gambling...I told them about the link or page not existing and they did something wrong so now they have to wait a week or so to get everything back online now hahaha...
