This is less of a bug and more of an inconvenience. Sometimes when monsters are near the top edge of the visible/in-view map and when they or my character attacks I cannot see which monster or how many of them are actually attacking me. At that point my character is swinging his weapon blindly. This is how the problem looks like:

My character is partially visible there. I cannot see which monster is/would be hidden behind me. This screenshot is rather normal. There was a time when this problem occurred where I was attacked by a swarm of nasty creatures and I was blindly drinking potions just to not die there. Forget about running away or hacking them.

Can this be fixed easily or would it take long?

It doesn't happen often though so I'm okay if the answer would be a No.

I've seen that too. My solution was to flip the view...

I just tried the landscape view (I'm in fight - holding on to my next move). This actually hides my character and surrounding monsters even more.

This is a known issue that has been around for a very long time. When the UI gets redesigned (don't know when) this should be addressed.
