I'm also seeing this problem even though I'm part of the thieves guild. Unmar even says consider yourself part of the guild. I'm wondering if I need to complete Old Friends first (a quest having you go from FH to RG multiple times is simply a time drain! Me no likey)?

I'll finish Old Friends and report back, but the current dialogue is misleading or plain wrong.

Still, I love and appreciate all the hard work that goes into these quests!
