You can _get_ this achievement, but I admit it is rather hard to get

I am pretty sure you won't get it now
if you have done all quests, it's too late for it

After acquiring a few (perhaps several..even a dozen or more) diamond rings, wondering if should save them to propose to numerous Princesses, hock them for semi-hard cold gold..or save them for some future possibility of a special smith turning them into Adamantine armor and/or weapons?

Lava is your friend. ;)

It won't be your friend as soon as the patch version gets released as I lowered the drop rate.

Man, that's so anti-fun approach. No need to change drop rate. It takes 100s of killings to have a chance at it. You could have thought about making ring useful, which is what the user above me was asking instead of killing fun in pushing players to grind even more. Unfortunate decision!

What's anti-fun is listening to you complain over and over again for years.
I added the ring as an Easter egg that can get you quick gold. Kind of like the opposite of why it was added to brimhaven's shop in the first place. The ring was never expected to be usable. It was originally added as a way to spend your abundance of gold. I'm using it here to give you an abundance of gold cuz you're going to need it later if you don't have it.
We have modified this yet again so the drop rate has not been decreased

It appears more like a jackpot than an easter egg. IMHO please avoid easters in the form of items.

What I don't understand is why weren't newly introduced monsters especially in the forest area are not programmed to drop something valuable that could be sold? They all drop useless stuff. This ring was unnecessary. Better approach would have been to make new monsters drop something which can be either used as a consumption item, or fetch at least a 3 digit sum of gold in stores.

Because they're forest creatures, what could they possibly have value? They are not humanoids .They're not going to drop a weapon or other human item.
The snakes drop meat.
