Hello.
First of all, I wanted to thank all the creators of this new game zone around sullengard which is excellent.
I loved doing all the new quests, testing the new weapons, but I still haven't found the Golden jackal. I'm still stuck in the maze at ainsley's house (the farmer). I've been looking for hours.
Can you give me a clue to get out of it?

It can be hard to find. The jackal is found in a clearing of trees.
It sticks out pretty easily.

It's not a maze. Why does everybody keep calling it a maze? It's a casual stroll through the woods.
It was never intended to be a maze. I was trying to make it difficult to walk through the woods as I was trying to make it so that you had the feeling like you were walking between the trees but the game engine just doesn't support that.
And yes the jackal is in there.

I hate snakes around Sullengaurd. My level 62 Blackwater Build keeps dying when engaging more than one at the same time. I can't heal fast enough with Bonemeal potions. But it's certainly a challenge.

Is there a way to access the bottom of the canyon (river bed?) yet?

Maximum attacks per turn with higher DR, AC is the key. I was able to kill them easily with 3/12 AP

Some items reduce Move cost, which is critical here to skip combat if the first few attacks result in misses

Will the next product version continue the tradition of loading save games from previous versions?

I am asking it because the game now comes with a modernized engine and I am also replaying on v.7 to improve my stats for use in future versions

Yes, the savegames will work in any higher AT version.
Only beta savegames will not work later
