Where is Ewmondold located? I don't remember where he is at. To be honest, I may have killed him. If I did, us there any way to complete the Perception is not Reality quesr? Of course the only to know if I killed hi. Is to go to where he should be.

The one place I hadn't looked was the snake cave. Now that I've found him, the next question is: what options do I have besides killing him. Killing him doesn't resolve the quest. Are there any other options to close out the quest?

Never mind. I found my mistake. If I kill him and leave, then nothing happens. I had to step onto the spot where Ewmondold died, and then I could complete the quest.

It should not be necessary to step on his place of death. It might be a bug, although I can't see how this could happen.
Where did Ewmondold and you stand exactly in the battle? Do you have a screenshot by chance?

No bug. Any step you take after killing him should fire off the script dialogue that completes the quest.

Understood, but there has to be another explanation.

I had saved my game just prior to killing him, so backed up and did it again. This time I didn't just leave, so was able to complete the quest.
