Splitting a heavy map

This is not a bug per se, but something to consider.

Sometimes my phone lags when I enter the area shown in the attached picture, usually due to the many monsters moving at the same times. Is it possible to split the map maybe along the red line I draw? That may help a bit for slow phones, I think.

Have you tried changing display preferences like high quality filters and/or optimized drawing?

I'll take a look at the map so see why it might be a problem.

We have looked at this. There is a lot going on on that map, and it is large. However, splitting an existing map may have bad consequences. So we will wait and see if we get more reports.

What phone and OS version are you using?

I am using Oppo A5 2020 with Android 11. It isnt alwats slow. Sometimes it works fine, some other time it is slow. Sometimes closing all running apps helps. Sometimes I restart my phone.

Thanks. Good to know it's at least not just a problem with low end phones.
As I said though, splitting the map could lead to problems. We would prefer not to do that. This is useful information anyway, because we will try to avoid such large, complex, maps in the future.
