A simple request. Sometime I want to rename my hero for whatever reason. My Hero is having identity crisis

I agree. I've wanted this for years. Problem is that this is a very low priority and with limited resources, this tends to get bumped down the list. We may be able to if it is a quick fix.

This has come up many times. I see no harm in being able to change the hero name. I've done it using a binary file editor to fork a build.

Just like what rijackson741 typed, you can do that safely by using binary file editor such as "Hex editor".

But you need to do it in two places
1~. First time you see it won't change it. But you need to change it there

the second time is by the items you have

I have only ever changed the second occurrence. Then when you load and save, AT fixes the first one (the reverse does not work).

For me it does. I always fixed both of them.

Same, Because I'm struggling with the path that I'm striving for my hero...Adding Change Name whatnot might be a good thing( it's all about identify tho)
