Oh, that's nice: you could visit the basilisk near Brimhaven and get the effect 'Turning to stone', and die if you don't go away.
Funny that you still have this effect after you wake up in bed
(-10HP each round)
Sounds like an idea for a little challenge:
Tease the basilisk, die due to its stare, and wake up - at Lodar or in Remgard
Only way to cure it is to go back near to the basilisk again...
