I am playing a permadeath monk, who aims to follow the way of justice, so i decide to let her finish all the quest in AT with making
righteous choices.

Then there will be a serious problem:
the witch of Remgard

the way to get Marrowtaint is evil, but our character know nothing about what he/she did( killing "rats", placing idols)
in he/she's view, he/she is just helping a pitiful lady, who was persecuted by the rude people in Remgard

So, is Marrowtaint an evil equipment? If yes, then if our character get Marrowtaint unexpectedly, did he/she wrong?
Who you like more? A young monk who make a regrettable choice, or a wise monk who has seen through all the things?

If you have never played the game before, then you may not know what she did until it is too late. But if you have played the game before then you do know.

Quick villain benefits vs long-term hero benefits...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, The Marrowtaint is hands down the best item in the game. And as such, I will never turn it down. Damn the consequences.
