Disappearing items?

Somewhere when playing the necklace (from shady stoutford innkeeper disappears from my inventory - I ignored it thinking I may have lost it somewhere.
But when I got the mermaid curse without getting the silver scale ... That's tremendously frustrating!

You don't actually get an inventory item. You don't need one to complete the quest. Maybe we should add one though.

I know I posted all possible quest outcomes and who and what and why's. It was b.a.d who took it right
