A brainless strategy for new players

i was a noob of AT, but i love to watch the guides from internet, also love finding the easiest way to play game but not losing the fun. After finishing AT v.0.7.12&13, i think it is the time to tell you my thoughts of builds and strategy.

First after building ur character, you met Mikhail, ur father, just forget about Andor, finishing the bread and mouse quest. Don't forget that u can find Andor's cloth there. Equip all the things you find in ur bag, then we can go out to Crossglen, the village u live now

There is a quick guide of level up to 3 in Crossglen
1. kill the rats and find ur father, get Andor's shield.
2. buy breads and find ur father
3. find Leta here and help her husband to hide from her, remember, u should tell Leta "i know nothing" after u find her husband. There are total 4 places that her husband hides, all in Crossglen, you have to find him 4 times and lie to Leta 4 times, then u get Andor's boots
4. buy $1 Axe there
5. kill big rat there

There is a recommended strategy of using ur lv up points
lv 1-10 atk
lv 11-20 attack chance
lv 20-30 block chance, or u like
lv 30 above, u like
Don't use ur skill point in lv 4, save it to lv 5 and learn "Increased Fortitude (IF)"
u get skill points every 4 lv, but i recommend you just learn IF lv1 at lv 4, and IF lv2 at lv 20, save other skill points, i have special strategy of using them

After level up to 3, my special strategy starts
Look at the title, "brainless strategy", meaning u have to farm till u are strong enough to overcome all the things in AT world. As it is a traditional RPG game, being a farmer is a must.

Follow the graph of road, kill all the "small rabbit dog", bees and young snake there, i circled them, then sleep in Crossglen inn, all those pathetic animal respown, then kill them again and sleep.
As u get Andor's shield, it provides 1 damage resistance (DR), so those animal with atk 1-2 are easy to deal with.

by killing them, u get golds and exp, also their meat ( one meat sold $25!), farming golds till u have $1876, buy "hardened leather shirt" there, it provides 1 DR

Then u get 2 DR, it means u can deal with the snakes in snake cave, yes, ur next farm position is snake cave.

Remember, the snakes atk 1-2, but they do criticial damage, when they criticial, they do 2-4 damage.
Also, kill, sleep, kill. when u get $3686, buy "necklace of the protector" there, it provides 2 DR

Then u have 4 DR, and u will never scare snakes
After that, u are able to kill the snake master in the snake cave and get his dagger, it will be ur main weapon
Then, we have to do a list of quests (OMG no farming!) as we need some equipment in Vilegard, by doing these quests, we can enter Vilegard.

1.talk to Leonid about Crossglen, knowing bonemeal( a strong potion) is not allowed.
2.talk to Tharal about bonemeal, give him 5 insect wings

3.kill the skeleton there and get 5 bones

4.talk to Thoronir in the church of Fallheaven, give him 5 bones and buy 10 bonemeal

Then, go to Vilegard and talk to Jolnor, and u get 3 quests

After finishing the quests, farm snakes (boring!) or start ur adventure till u have $10669

buy two ring of the prortector($4304*2) from Jolnor in the church of Vilegard and buy chainmail mittens($2061, 1DR) here

Then, prepare $1479, buy a fine green hat there

After that, go to brimheaven and enhance the hat there

Remember, don't fight with the monsters around brimheaven as they are extremely strong! Flee if u get hit by them!
An enhanced green hat provides 1 DR

And finally, u get 6 DR, and now you maybe around lv 16-22 (my experience)
After that, the last farm target appear...

Prepare well (around lv18, buy 20-50 bonemeal), follow the graph, and that's our last farm position.

The monster "Shadow gargoyle trainer&master"in the cave are our targets, their atk is 3-6, it means that they do no damage to you as you have 6 DR unless they criticial, when they criticial, they do 3-6*3, so 9-18 damage. when your HP is under 25, remember to heal urself.

they drops "Regular potion of health", which heal 10 HP, according to my experience, the potion they drop are enough (even excess!) to heal ur self after fights. they also drop a legendary equipment "Ring of lesser shadow (Rols)" Which is one of the strongest item in AT world (drop rate 0.01%, meaning that 1 ring per 10000 kill)

look at the graph, the circled area, i called it "waiting room"

there are two monster in the room, when u kill all the Shadow Gargoyle monster, u should go back to waiting room and wait for 3 minutes(all monster respown when u are not in their map for over 3 minutes, even u are not playing AT), in this 3 minutes, you can turn off AT, watching TV or playing other mobile phone games, then kill them again until u get Rols or u reach lv 30

Why lv 30？
do u remember i ask u not to use ur skill point, just use 2 in IF？
that because when u are lv 30, you have 5 skill point not used, and u are able to learn the most "economic" skill in AT world, "Way of Monk" and "Unarmed Fighting"

Don't use ur skill point first, the skill "Unarmed Fighting" is available after finishing the quest in Charwood. So lets finish the quest first.

after that , learn the skill Unarmed fighting and Unarmored fight
put 2 skill point in "Way of Monk" and "Unarmed fighting", then you are invincible now. Yes, really invincible, 95% of monster can't defeat u now.
