Quest Help Rumbling in Stoutford

Hey Guys, I read through all your helpful Threads, but I'm stuck in Stoutford/Rumbling. I'm Just not able to kill the Monster in the cave in the Tavern. He's recovering that fast. Bought already some Drinks against weakness of armors but it Had no effect. I dont know what to do different. Would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks a lot

Get stronger elsewhere and then come back - that's what I have done

Thanks a lot for your replay. Can you remember what Level you were roundabout, when you managed to kill him?

I was level 24ish. I did a hit and flee and was able to do it. But I gained health each round so I ran around until my health regained a bit

Yes a tad stronger. Did you do the crackshot quest yet? That's the weapon I used

Crackshot is related to a quest originating in Fallhaven

I think I can only start it when I've finished the thieves guild quest. I'm Missing the third report for the thieves because the guard is too strong for me now, too. But thanks for the advice, that's the way I'll go. Stoutford is making me crazy, so I'm leaving it for now

Save, hit, then flee before getting hit.
If you get hit or fail to flee, load your savefile and try again.

It sounds cheating, but a good way to let unskilled player continue their game.

If you want a "effortless" game, you can farm until you got Rols ( or even two Rols! )

Then i am pretty sure that your game will never get obstacle because you already get enough gold and exp
