1. Just meat & gold
2. I'm @584 places, & found no secret place that I recall..

As a general tip, you really need to explore everywhere. There are many things to find in the world that are not obvious.

Ty for the assist, but I must have a bug. I have went over the whole area. NO Giant snake.

The giant snake does not show up at low levels. What is the level of your player right now?

To be clear, the giant snake is a (minor) quest. It will not spawn until you've started the corresponding quest - is "A giant snake" active in your quest log?
