BTW, you can still get this achievement, if and only, if you didn't perform one of the Brimhaven's quest namely:

"Much Water". If not, then you must help the brothers to destroy the dam. After that, run straight to the cliff of dry lake bed. Else, do this by your another character with, atleast, 61 hp or greater than that and a lot of hp potion.

What actually trigger the achievement

Lazy Day?

Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it takes a while. My last attempt, I've sit there for long time, talked to the NPCs, walk around the beetles, but nothing happens.

Any thoughts of what action (or series of actions) I should actually do?

Watching a beetle fight is the same as watching any fight as we listen to the announcer.

Going back to Much Water, is there a way to do swimming lessons after completion of Much Watet? I have paid to have the dam repaired and paid again to have it destroyed, but so fat nothing has happened.

Then this is my one complaint to the developers. You have added a quest that can't be completed because it needed to be completed in the past. I am currently level 72. Would hate to have to start over again.

The things in the book of achievements are single achievements, not steps one quest (although we use the technic of a quest).
It will never be completed.
It is thought more as a set of little things or Easter eggs. Some are easy to find, some are almost Impossible. Or you just have one chance at a certain time. That's life.
