You and I both...lol Since I have completed the new available quests, this is my current objective as well. I found that playing CoD online gives the mobs just enough time to respawn while playing a match, and the minute and a half or so I have between matches is plenty of time to rush through the gargoyle trainers and masters.

Is everyone still hunting for "RoLS" in Version 0.6.9?
I for myself try to get a "RoL" now. And only pelligrini stated that he wants to get an "ElyR".

I want those Legendary items as well, but this is where I decided to start. Those are def on the list to acquire next. Figured that I would start in the order that they were introduced to the game.

I gave up on the RoLS so I could try the new quests, and they were pretty fun. Now that I've finished them, I'm planning to go after the legendary items. I'm going to start with the ElyR since it seems to have better stats than RoL (w/+2 AP to make up for the 5 AC), then go back to the other side to try for the RoLS again.

I will say all the grinding in the gargoyle caves helped to give me enough experience and gold to survive in the new maps.

I kind of gave up on the RoLS. I leveled to 53 and collected probably over 3600 or more rocks. I have 3100 now, but I was selling/dropping them early on. I quit playing andor about a month ago. I picked it up again just this last Friday once I saw that there was an update. I'll probably eventually go back to the caves, but it was getting really boring (especially with no RoLS yet).

It also didn't take me too long to knock out all the new quests. Getting up and down the mountain wasn't that hard at the level I'm at. I kind of figured after killing all those trainers & masters 1000's of times over that the next update would go fairly easy. Going after an ElyR seems like a good place to play. I can get down the mountain quickly after getting access to the inner chamber in blackwater.

I'm not too keen on the darkness areas, so a RoL probably won't be heavily sought after. Those areas probably won't be too bad once I map them out. I was started playing Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord after I stopped playing Andor. That game is 10 maps of dark mazes. I even remembered some parts from when I played it 20 years ago...

After reading about good places to grind in that other topic, I've decided to give up on the legendary items for now, and just grind for XP so I can level up my AC and AD (and then maybe HP and BC).

The ElyR seems like the best one of the 3 if you just look at each item since you get the extra AP, but I'm going to try to level up first so I can kill those trainers before they can give me fatigue. The RoLS seems good too, but I'd rather just level up and keep my pair of 6+ ring of damage. So it would mostly be just a status item but not something I'd use.

The LoR would probably be the one I go after last, and I would be lazy about finding my way out and just let them kill me so I end up at the last place I rested and sacrifice some XP (I did that after the quest in the same place and you still keep any items you got and the quest is still completed).

Still, its good to know these items are out there, and going after them gives us a purpose if "just grinding for XP" isn't enough, while Oskar works on the next version (not trying to rush you either).

Why give it up when you can have both?
IMO you could level in the gargoyle cave having a positive side affect to have a little chance of getting a RoLS.
I agree that the ElyR area is a hard area to level and the RoL area is a dark area to level. But the RoLS area is just nice.

I agree some Level 20 hero should not go after legendary items.
