I shall try to find the area. Also not sure if anyone else noticed but brimhaven smith sells that trident dagger that has no attack cost. Which means i can finally duel wield using my quickstrike dagger for 6 attacks a round.

in fact, you can't because trident dagger is not a weapon. It's more like a shield

It is not OP in my opinion. In fact, when compared to the Brutal Club, it is under powered. The huge advantage is the 8 BC. The bludgeoning profecincy skill adds to the positive BC, which helps.

I don't think it's OP... It is indeed a great weapon, and the 127% dmg modifier is nice, but when I compare it to the RoL, I prefer the RoL (greatest 5AP weapon IMO). The advantages of this weapon is the crits (but I'm not a found of crits), the entanglement condition which is nice, and the BC... But RoL has better raw stats (except BC), and I prefer the regen than entanglement, crits, and BC. This whip is IMO a very good weapon, but not really an OP weapon.

I might build a new character around it and either dual wield it or team it up with the chaosreaper.

It's difficult to give feedback on a new item when you will not divulge where to find/grind it..

Also, why would you designate a piece of equipment as a dagger when it is functionally a shield? (seems unnecessarily confusing to me)

Brimhaven is great, new quests also great.. Since 7.0 y'all have added almost 50% more places visited than previously existed..quite an accomplishment - all involved should be proud.

Re; the new item.. I know a guy who will sell me a curved dagger & a blue gem ..but I don't think that's what the "hint" is about..
If you don't want to say, fine, but it seems to defeat the original reason for legendary/extraordinary items, which I understand to be something to do between releases..

Just sayin..

In your inventory, it will be in the Armour section, not the weapon section.
