To be honest I only consider Quick learner as a good skill if you're grinding for crazy high lvls. I used my second skill point to get it (at lvl 8) and I'm lvl 47 now (not in my main build), with 1,937,679 xp. I've finished the game (or at least all the quests available in this version), except the arulir Mountain. 1,937,679 xp means that I gained (approximately) 1,937,679 - 1,937,679/1.05 xp from my QL skill... wich makes 92,270 xp, approximately 1lvl at my current lvl. So QL is indeed useful if you use it to grind at really high lvl, but in a normal character I think it's unuseful.

Yea, I now remember why I did it. I used to be a tug boat operator out at sea, so to burn endless hours, I would level Tulkas endlessly. Adding points to quick learner was the only way I could stay awake doing it, otherwise the xp bar moved so painfully slow it could no longer be endured.

I think at that time I grinded up to level 190 by killing countless spiders and also hirathil ghosts.

I am not sure if something wrong here. My Hero wears two items that gives Dazed effect on target when hit:
  • Worn plated gloves - 20% Dazed for 4 rounds
  • Gleaming claymore of ruin - 30% Dazed for 3 rounds
However, everytime my hero lands a hit and the msg says the target received dazed for 3/4 rounds, the dazed effect only lasts 1 rounds or quickly gone. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Edit:
I remove the gloves, with only Gleaming claymore, the Dazed only lasted 1 round.

More observation, if dazed takes effect on first hit, it quickly go away before I do my second attempt to hit.

Please describe to me what you think a "round" is?
I have the exact same setup that you're describing and it works just fine for me.
Go ahead and do this:
Start the battle and click the monster button,
Hit the monster, if the dazed to actor condition is applied then you'll see the dazed icon.
Then hit "end turn", notice the icon is still there.
Then hit "end turn" again, notice the icon is still there.
Then hit "end turn" again, notice the icon is still there
Now the icon disappears because that's three rounds

If you click the dazed icon a second time, you'll see the number of rounds left.

Round is defined as the game goes: I run through my AP, then the mob do the same thing.

I wish there is a better way to show this. I'll do more observation with mobs that have higher hp to make my fight last longer.

Btw, unrelated topic. Why when I run out of AP due to attack, it auto end turn but using item does not auto end turn?

Did you try what I explained for you to do?

You either have enough AP to do something else or you've run into the long standing bug that will be addressed soon.
