Hmm. I have passed through the mine many times in test versions, and the layout has not changed (I am sure of that, because I marked the route with a series of dropped small rocks).

The map is not random, but it is not the same for everyone. You should always be able to walk through that door, in all possible map configurations. So there's not much we can say without seeing the samegame. What you describe should not be possible.

Ok guys with the help Nut I was able to figure out my problem. My really fat finger and overzealous use of touch on my phone was causing me the problem. As I would go up the ladder back to the main floor I was forcing the character to go forward to I couldn't go South to the opening to the larger room. So I have to be much more delicate when working the little guy around ladders. Just placing him on top the ladder lets me choose when he's on top which direction I want him to go.

And I just found my missing link, so no problem here either, after all. I had originally marked my path through with breadcrumbs only at the turns, but with this beta, not knowing where BWM changes were to be found, I went back through the maze and tried to mark every single walkable square, in case one of the old dead ends were now connected to a new map.

However, along the way I missed one stretch between turns, making it appear on the return trip as if it were a gap between two dead ends. Apparently I never double checked that connection until this evening, after only getting a few minutes of play at a time over the busy holidays.

I noticed it changed as well with a new character. Weird

Trying to keep the game fresh from character to character. Makes the replayability more interesting.
