Did you already talk to two NPCs involved

, specifically - any of the two - guard(s) standing outside of the Crossroads Guardhouse AND the Feygard barricade guard respectively,

in that quest?
If so, then the hole will appear

on woodcave0 (south of where Korvan, leader of the wolves, and 3 wolves will be found).

Ahhh, OK, ya it's been awhile since I played, and searching around I

Found folks talking about the cave with the rope, so I assumed it was the cave way out northwest...

And I'm getting pummeled at BWM, and about killed myself getting to brimhaven.

And yes I spoke to all of them, just had the location wrong..

Till I found the shortcut back.
