Where to get long bones?

Don't know where, but when i gave this guy ther hairs i got one correct, no ideia where i found it, and now he asks 3 more...

he will always ask for more hair, when you get sick of him just refuse to help. (The hair is just any old hair.)

I was a victim of that confusion too

Because of Halvor now I have 500k golds

Because of Halvor I re-visited every vendor in the game looking for "better hair" and, in order,

• emptied my inventory
• turned auto pick up off
• found each specific monster that dropped hair
• collected the requested amount from that monster only
• returned to Halvor
• screamed when that wasn't the right hair
• did this methodically with every monster that dropped hair

I always only gave him the item once after that told him to buzz off

Yeah, there was nothing specific in the quest dialog to indicate that you could advance in this quest without acquiring the items requested. All prior quests in Andor's Trail have been reasonably straight forward in the dialog department even if the character is spouting outright political lies and propaganda. Socially/contextually it doesn't seem like Halvor has any reason to prevaricate so it is natural to take his dialog at face value.
The problem is that Halvor is an idiot.

Because the game doesn't update as quickly as us long time players grind through the content. Given this context it seemed like a ridiculously thorough search of all possible parameters would be a good way to burn up some of the time before we see Nor City.

Where do you find the merchant who sells rat tail?
