The Pickpocket dude down in the Thieves Guild basement in Fallhaven just talks to us with dialog. He doesn't do his job! Why don't you make him take a small amount of gold away from players. You could also place more pickpockets in other parts of Fallhaven, and in other towns too.

Thieves don't steal from other thieves?

Who told you that? Where are you getting your information from? Didn't you see any of the Robin Hood type movies? Nothing is sacred for a thief! Even children don't think twice about stealing from each other!

I did a little research on pickpockets. They usually worked in groups. One would do the distracting and another would sneak by to cut off the purses from victims. In European times, they would often sew their purse into their clothes and had to be cut off by a thief. Thus they were called, "cut-purse" thieves. Maybe you could incorporate this scenario into the game elsewhere then.

The whole basis of the Robin Hood legend is that he stole from the rich and gave it to the poor. So there was a lot sacred to him.

I meant in old European times. Anyway, what about putting pickpockets in the taverns or the places where the rich frequent.
