Lost Treasures Quest

I had an idea about the Lost Treasures quest. I saw in a few older threads that you had ideas about finishing up with the heartsteel. Everybody wants to hear about heartsteel, but we don't hear much about it in the continuing game. What about a quest involving slaying a fire breathing dragon, sitting in a very hard to find secret cave up on a treacherous mountain, filled with a glorious pile of ancient treasure that you have to follow several ongoing clues to discover its location. And in the pile of treasure you could collect a precious heartstone that can be used to forge the legendary heartsteel again!🤔

I was also thinking you could tie in together psychedelic Rob by Guynmart Castle with this dragon idea. Maybe Rob acquired this color changing ability involuntarily after being adversely affected by a chameleon dragon that can change colors to avoid it's enemies?

Rob doesn't change, only the glade changes.

Ok. But you could change him to match the colors. He could have been adversely affect by a chameleon dragon, and barely escaped with his life! If someone were to help him get a potion to cure the bizarre effect...he would be more than happy to help adventurers to locate the dreaded dragon! My creative juices are flowing! Oh well. At least it sounds better than a cave of bunnies!

That's not as easy as you might think. We are constrained in what we can do by the game engine and available resources. To make Rob change color we would have to actually create a new Rob, with a different sprite that we recolored. Then we would need to complex scripts to cycle through the various Robs. I think it could be done, but it would be a lot of work, and Rob is just a bored kid playing around the castle, not a dragon hunter.

Yeah. The bunnies suggestion was entertaining, but I doubt we will go there. The Monty Python killer rabbit skit kind of kills that idea.

Pineapples are kind of sharp and prickly. And heavy. You could probably beat a bunny to death with one

Combustible Lemons would be epic. Especially if they somehow burned someone's house down.

Never forget boomerang bananas... very dangerous. And road apples. Those road apples are terrible, especially when you step on them.
