Well, I tend to stick my nose evrywhere, so I found it before I knew of the quest.
Since then I keep asking myself, what these sicalled guards are up to, if they even let themselves be caught with one skeleton in the same room, obviously not being hostile to each other…
There's something very suspicious going on.

After the latest update, I play from beginning again. However, I am now stuck with the Stoutford's old castle quest because there are two skeleton I cannot kill.
Just to make sure, I killed the one on the top of one of the tower, the one standing right outside the gate (where lizard spawn if you have Lutarc's medallion), made sure all buildings and fields are cleared of skeleton. Only two shown in the picture are unreachable. I tried to go around the mountain (new areas), but so far I haven't found access to those two skeleton soldiers.
Am I missing something, an access, place to climb? Any help would be appreciated.

You are able to get there in the new update. You need to progress more

Yeah this is definitely a bug as we opened up the walkable areas, the spawn area increased.

That's a nice bug that you have found.
We have to be careful on fixing it, to not break the game for players with skeletons outside the castle.
Probably it's best to make their spawn area smaller, so that they can't spawn outside the castle anymore.
Better not make the tiles unwalkable, because this might lock skeletons in a then unreachable place.
