Stoutford Area Quests

After defeating some undead under the prison, I was told to see Yolgen for a reward; problem is, I can't find Yolgen in Vileguard- he isn't in the church- wasn't he up in the inside left corner previously??

Indeed in a left side room. But

not in Vilegard

I can't find Yolgen. I killed all the undead in the tunnel with the Demon, and I was told to go see Yolgen for a reward. I went to the church, but he isn't there. Wasn't he in the inside upper left corner before??
Where do I look for him?? ( level 25 )

Why do you assume that you need it for any quest?

Because the medallion is called a quest item

It was involved in a quest, but you get to keep it at the end of the quest. So it's marked as a quest item so that you can't sell it. There is more than one such item.

Don't assume that when asked we just hand out answers. I asked the question to make the person asking think. A few posts down from the one you quote, I already gave the answer.

Help I have combed through the entire map of stoutford castle: the gate, the cage, both towers, the barrack with an upper and lower floor, the castle with an upper and two lower floors and checked every tile. I found nothing

I screenshotted the whole stoutford castle map but it doesn't load the rest of the 24 images out of 27 images

Have you been in the tower of the last picture?
Also where Lord Erwyn is there is a

basement behind a spiderweb
