Ok what's up with these adds, new users come on and advertise and the mods come and delete them but more will be there later, so what's the deal?

This is a forum with open account creation for a popular phone ap. . .that's enough to attract spam all on it's own.

We added a simple non-standard question to the signup form some weeks ago, which really helped to reduce the amount of spam. I guess the spambots must have automated that question by now.

We should probably look at refreshing the antispam measures again now.

If you see an ad, spam or other inappropriate post, please click the little "!" in the bottom right corner of the post.

That will flag it so we can remove it.

It's getting worse it seems. Or just more site activity triggers the spam bots maybe?? Idk I'm not a spam expert just a spam killer!!
