Egress (Escape)

New Skill, Condition or Ability?

i dunno - i was thinking about how there aren't amazing boots in the game,
and i thought it was strange that i am still using Coward's Boots* at level 30+...

maybe, better Coward's Boots?
(after thinking on this at length, it might be better as a Skill?)

Egress Boots (Escape Boots)
BC: Negligible
Lowers Move Cost: 1AP
[grants condition: Egress]

Egress (Escape) = When you successfully Flee, you now move two spaces away.

It could be an added feature applied to the Coward's Boots... possibly even added in-game via a quest that is only accessible if you have the Coward's Boots equipped when you talk to the right NPC?

When I hear 'Escape' in an RPG context I think a quick way out of a dungeon. As in no xp loss nor loss of life.

you just made me think, it might be easier to code...

if you flee & succeed it's free (no AP)
[rinse, repeat]
if you fail in fleeing, your turn is over...

don't mind me - just jotting down ideas. :mrgreen:

It's actually artwork for my card game called Puppies! and, yes, the ! is part of the title and is always included even in the middle of a sentence as I had done here.
