Oh right, I only created the windows version, because none of us devs uses the linux version.
I'll have to look for the installer.
That's good that you ask for it, because now I have someone to test if my created zip would be working ...

I managed to omit the out-of-memory error.

The MAX_MEM value that is set in the start script ATCS.sh is relatively small (512M).
By doubling the MAX_MEM value creating a new project didn't crash with the OOM-Error any more.

So I would suggest to set MAX_MEM=1G in ATCS.sh

I am confused. I am also using Linux. If I click on the link for version 0.6.20 for linux on the first page, it says requested resource not found. Also, if I click on the github for ATCS, the latest commit says merge version 0.6.19, not version 0.6.20.

You are right, I had created the windows version v0.6.20 from its branch but did not merge the sources to master branch until now.
Also I didn't create the linux version, because I didn't expect somebody to use it.

So:
  • The current ATCS version is 0.6.20
  • The compiled Linux version ( ATCS_v0.6.20.zip ) is not ready+uploaded yet

Do you have documentation on how I can compile the ATCS for linux by myself?

So I downloaded the windows version on a windows virtual machine so that I could try it out. It is asking me to load a workspace. What is a workspace, how do I create it, and how do I load it?

I am using openjdk 21.

openjdk version "21.0.1" 2023-10-17
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 21.0.1+12-29)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 21.0.1+12-29, mixed mode, sharing)

edit: nevermind, I see viewtopic.php?t=5938 now and am following the instructions.

But it does not seem to be opening the content studio. Should I be concerned about this error?

edit2: Oracle's proprietary version of java seems to work. I prefer not to use Oracle because I do not trust their technology to not spy on me. They have been found to be tracking over 5 billion people. But I suppose this will have to do for now. See https://youtu.be/N5E3gra5wz4 for more information on Oracle tracking 5 billion people and making inferences about them.
