I have a bug to report

I can't for certain say that it's a bug or not, but I really hope it is.

I have killed 5500 Plaguestrider masters and recived 6 VSHs. The only problem is that I haven't gotten a single Srov.It's killing me.

Have anyone else managed to get an Srov on 0.71?

I don't think it's a bug....it is just a matter of luck, or bad luck in case. I got one of each on version 0.7.1, but I've seen where many others get multiples of one item, before getting the other.
Gotta keep grinding!

The bug with Srov isn't a bug. It is a game about chance. 1 in 1000 chance does not mean that you get 1 per 1000. It is chance. After killing 1000 you have a 63 percent chance to have gotten it in your 1000 killings.

63 percent is what rjackson said, to be honest I don't know the probabilities.

I doubt it's a bug, but you have been very unlucky. With 5500 kills you have (or had ) a 99.6% chance of getting one.

The 63% figure is correct for 1000 kills.

Try killing more. It will help you in your chances of 1 in 1000.

Thank you for all your kind messages. I am actually happy to know that it's "only" a severe case of bad luck. Was almost ready to give up. But will continue with killing at least 2000 PSMs more before I decide to go on.

Edit : Killed 100 more PSM. Got my 7th VSH. Still no SRoV.

I tried the method of kill then reload until desired item is dropped, however when killing plaguestrider masters I have noticed that the first plaguestrider master(going to remgard) drops SRoV, the middle drops VSH. About the thrid one(near the plaguestrider master "boss") I don't know since I already acquired the desired item. Then I remember reading in the forum that what if specific monsters drop specific items. That was my observation about the drop. Version 0.7.1.

There is no difference between the plaguestrider masters. They have the same statistics and drop the same things. The masters dropping differnt things is probably a fluke in your game. It's all chance.
