Combat Log when end-combat dialog turned off

It would be nice... I have the end-combat dialog turned off (to make "grinding" a little easier), but with it off, I have no way of knowing how much exp and loot was gained. In the little combat log that displays in the upper left part of the screen during combat, a single line showing exp and what was picked up would be helpful - and this would need to remain on the screen for a few seconds after the battle.
Thanks!

Not a bad idea. There are several fine ideas around to enhance the content of the combat log.
You can, however, activate the "short notification" for combat loot, that will display a simple message giving you info on the outcome without interrupting gameplay grinding.

I'll try that, thanks.

I tried it, and for the time being, I'll use this setting. However, it still doesn't do quite what I'm asking. After the monster kill, it says how much experience, how much gold, and "you picked up # item(s)". What I was looking for is the actual items being picked up.
One thought... If the drop is rare (or better), the text could be highlighted or something to draw attention to it.

I agree. I want there to be a short notice with all of the full information but not in a Dialouge box. Sounds like a good idea.
With the Dialouge box you get all of the information (items, Gold, exp)but pressing pick up all is annoying and repetitive.
With the short notice you only get gold exp and you got 1 item! It would be great if it would say you got a small rock!
Good with grinding.

I agree with a rare items option for the dialog, especially for Legendary and Extraordinary items. It would be sooo much easier than checking your inventory every so often to see if you finally popped that RoLS.
