I have done a search and cannot find what they actually do anywhere (I hope I have not just missed it).
Could anyone who has taken them please post saying what weapon and armour proficiencies do with each level taken?
If a forum mod could update Pyrizzle's second post on this thread (http://andorstrail.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1498) with the details, would be very much appreciated.

Unarmored fighting: 3 levels
While fighting w/o any piece of armor equipped, gain 10% block chance per skill level. Items made of cloth are not considered as being armor.
Light armor proficiency: 3 levels
For every skill level, increases block chances of every piece of light armor being worn by 30% of their original block chances. Light armors include leather, light metal and hide armor.
Heavy armor proficiency: 4 levels
For every skill level, increases the block chance of every piece of heavy armor being worn by 20% of their original block chances of their original block chances. Pieces of heavy armor have their movement penalties reduced by 25% per skill level, and their attack speed penalties reduced by 25% per skill levels. Heavy armors include metal armors, chain mail and plate mail.
Shield proficiency: 2 levels
Increase damage resistance by 1 per skill level while having a shield equipped.

Took me a while to find this information, as there are many topic on it, but most say that Light armor is better than heavy, or heavy costs too much, and contain no actual descriptions of the skills.

So what's the bonus for weapon proficiency of pole arm? I am curious because the dev decided spears don't get AC. At least the ones I found in Crossglen and Vilegard.
