This is just a quick idea since I am being impatient for more for the game to be finished lol. I have heard a few times about not being able to work more frequently on the development of the game due to "lack of funds". This would be simple if the game cost money to buy but then I believe that would wreck the integrity of the game. However, what if somewhere on this site there was a tab or link or something that we as more engaged players could send a donation? Just a thought.

This has been suggested before. But I believe the developers are very much against it. This game is personal to them and developed by choice out of love in their own spare time. Allowing donations places a certain expectation or obligation of progress and I don't think they want that.
I'd be willing to help fund it as well, but I respect their wish to keep it 100% open source and without money moving hands.

Covenant pretty much nailed it. I don't think anyone has ever said lack of money has been an issue with development.
If the issue is anything it is lack of time. As soon as someone finds more than 24hrs in a day let me know.

Well......
24 hours, blah , 1/4 , blah, blah blah, leap year, blach, blah february....
So just take feb 29th off work and put in mad dev time.
Just saying.
Actually, for the sake of being 'correct', one solar day (peak sun to peak sun) is 23 hours 56 minutes and 4.1 Seconds, well, depending on who you ask.

No, I'm making good strides with mine. Haha JK, I'm just the biggest nerd for astronomy.
Anyways, let's get back on topic here, I apologize for that.
I would pay money, for sure. But, what makes this game stand out above the rest of the rougelikes is the free price for full content, no IAP's, no ads, the community, and commited development with passion for their work. Why ruin that?
