2 ideas/suggestions

Hello All! I am new to the forum, but have been playing AT for about a year now. So far I am really enjoying the game. Thanks to all who are making this happen!
EDIT: After reading more of the forums, i realize there is a thing called "fast travel" and that my first suggestion was related to that. So I moved it to that thread.
The second Idea is why not make it so that more XP can be gotten by fighting multiple baddies at the same time. Perhaps if you fight 2 at the same time, you get a 5% XP bonus on top of your total, increasing by 5% for each monster that joins the fray. So if you fought 3 then it would be a 10% bonus, 4 is 15%, etc. I mean, fighting 2 is tougher that fighting one right?
These are just a couple of ideas I had while playing the game. I have no real idea about the development path of the game, or what has already been considered and decided upon for future releases, but I figured these were worth offering up as legitimate suggestions.

I really like #2, he brings up a very valid point, although I feel it could be abused with some of the new AI features.

Yup, I like #2 too, but it breaks the "plan your battle" aspect when you're fighting tough foes. It will make even those moments sound like "rush through it and pray !"...
For #1, any way that helps you go from point A to point B without fighting will generally be refused, especially if A & B are not fixed, preset points.
However, having shortcuts unlocked here and there, especially one-way only shortcuts, are considered, and even appreciated. There's one in the game already, and at least a second one in the works !

Oooooh, as someone who is currently stacking Cleave and favoring low AP cost attacks, I would absolutely love a tiny % increase to XP gained from fighting multiple mobs at once

In the same light we could give an xp bonus for a one hit kills, surviving fights without taking any damage, killing your enemy before they can even attack... etc, etc. Balance it out so that no matter the playstyle bonuses can be achieved.

herehere... tell me more.. please... and please tell me that there will be a Big amound of bonus exp

Wow ++1 for the XP bonus idea. Would be a great alternative to investing skill points in the Quick Learner skill, but still give access to higher XP output from grinding.
And being accessible to anyone with any player type, it wouldn't give unfair advantage to anyone based on character build choice. I acknowledge that some players, with AC stacked or low BC characters may try to avoid engaging many creeps at once. But it would encourage these players to seek out tougher battles when grinding - don't you want more of a challenge anyway?
Absolutely ideal for grinding in the caverns below Lodar's place, especially with the swarming-like behaviour of the Hirathils down there.

You could also throw in a disadvantage to help even things out and prevent the "by the seat of your pants" approach. Simply tack on an additional exp penalty to when you die. So, for instance, if you're fighting 3 monsters at the same time and defeating them would net you a 10% bonus to exp, then if you're killed, you take an extra 10% exp loss. Or something like that. Make it bypass the death-related skill (can't remember the name...)
