Not really. We can switch from an integer (max 2^31 - 1) to a long (max 2^63 - 1) fairly easily.

This is the number for total exp. The cap today is
2^31-1 = 2,147,483,647
The cap if we move on to a long is
2^63-1 = 9,223,372,036,854,775,807

Good luck reaching that... That's roughly 5 billion times more.

If you could get to level 476 in one month of playing, and you kept up that pace every month after that, it would take you about 350 million years to overflow a long int

Nah 476 will take me a while maybe I don't have much to do in a day so 12 hours of grinding a day

Long integer sounds good then. You would never have anyone moan about being capped again
