If you want the slots to stay open after you close the toolbox, the icon still has to be pressed. Otherwise, the slots will disappear as soon as you close the toolbox. The new option is only to let you grab one quick potion and then get the slots back out of the way.

When you click the Treasure Chest box (in the lower right corner) that he would want to have a preference that makes it so the quick slot items are opened automatically instead of having to click the loot bag icon to open the quick slot items.

No I didn't think of the reason the loot bag icon in the tool box was still there was to allow the player to still have the quick slot items shown when the tool box was closed.

just click the loot bag icon once and then close the tool box.

You miss understood me saru. Here's my thought process :
•i chose auto show quick slot on opening tool box.

•i thought with this preference that the quick slot icon would be gone.

•it didn't dawn on me that the reason quick slot icon was still there was so quick slots would remain when tool box is closed.

Is that better?
