The Egg clearly came before the chicken. Fish were laying eggs long before anything ever walked the surface of the earth.

Fish layed eggs long before chickens ever existed... therefor the egg came first.

now if you were to ask if the chicken or the chicken egg came first.... that is a much harder question.

I brought a 12 pack of Hieneken, I can argue this all night.
