Arambold likes the way I get out of bed

This one is easily reproduced. It's not that bad, and there's a workaround, but I thought I'd mention it.

At the tavern in Crossglen, go to the beds in the upper right. Get in the upper left bed. It doesn't matter if you have any damage. Now get out of the bed by moving to the lower left. Normally, you'd slide along the wall until you reach the corner, then move left into the room.

Instead, you get into a conversation with Arambold, even if he's not anywhere near you. You can work around it by using another bed or avoiding the wall when you leave the bed.

Nope.
Can we see a screenshot?

I'd like to provide a screenshot, but I'm in the Kazaul cave right now. I don't have any saves in Crossglen (I only keep the last nine), and I'm worried about losing my current game if I start a new one.

I don't use the d-pad. My settings are pretty much stock, the "factory" settings. I've sped up combat; I think that's the only change.

ok I was able to reproduce. Screen shot is not going to help on this one because the text box covers the screen. I am not sure I would even classify this as a bug but Arambold can be on the far right hand side of the screen and if you exit the bed on the far left hand side of the screen a dialog box will initiate sometimes after leaving the bed. It doesn't happen everytime and as soon as you exit the text box problem over. But it is one of the squares that follows Arambolds movement track.

After further experimentation, it randomly happens, rather less than half the time.

Out seems to have to do with this : when you sleep and wake up, the very first step you take , Arambold remains where he was when you lay down. However, after one step, he leaps randomly to a new spot in his spawn area between the rows of beds. If he happens to leap to the spot you just stepped , he instead leaps somewhere else and the dialog is triggered, despite him nor being next to you.

I have not yet tested if waiting instead of immediately stepping down from the bed would result in the same big. I have also not yet checked the other beds beside the upper left.

Waiting does not seem to have an effect on it and it only works on the first bed the other two are unaffected. It is more like Arambold teleports from the far right to the first square on his track.

This probably does not need to be fixed. I have the screen shot I will send it soon.

My gut still tells me that eliminating the delay on him moving after you sleep will take care of the problem. Does sleeping automatically reset the timer for npc movement?
