New weapon Idea.

Two handed weapon
Devastation
AP cost: 10
Attack damage: 70-75
Attack chance: -100
Block chance: -100
On every miss, - 5 hp

Why would you want to use such a weapon? By the time your hero was strong enough to withstand the -100% on BC and AC, he should not need the additional AD.
Maybe such a weapon would be needed if some NPC was immune to hits from mortal weapons. Otherwise, I don't see myself using such a weapon.

EDIT: This might be great for grinding. But only at a very high level.

Seems like a fun weapon for high level players but instead of the 70–75 AD, how about this?

Base AD: 50
equipping this item causes player condition: mass devastation
on hit: 50% chance that 2x existing AD will be inflicted on all adjacent targets

It would still be too costly for lower level players but would be useful after the monster movement changes expected in the next update. The other stats are good the way you suggested. I especially like that you lose HP for missing, like it's such a heavy weapon if you do an empty swing it's really tiring.

I had come up with a weapon idea simular to this one a while back (one sec let me find it, i hid it somewhere in my PMs lol)

Soulsucking Sword
AP: 5
AC: -20% (i think i like -30% better)
AD: 10-15
BC: 0
Actor Condition:
1) On each swing it drains you for 2HP
2) On each swing you hit on, you gain 3HP

On hit: One-hit KO

Weapon: soul stealer
Conditions: black water misery
Vampirism
Damage: 0-1

Stats:
-20 ad
-30 ac
-30 bc

Vampirism: converts damage to experience. Can not exceed maximum life total of monster.

I like the idea of a weapon that adds more XP since my main goal right now is mostly just leveling up, but I'm not clear on how this would work.

Do you get extra XP on each successful hit? Would the XP equal the amount of damage you cause, and then you also get the standard XP from the kill?

Since this seems to be aimed at mid to high level, I'd suggest making the attack cost 5AP (since it will cause Blackwater Misery).

And maybe the mods can revise the 2 recent New Weapon idea topics to include the name of the suggested weapon?

1. I agree. I like the idea of more experience for high end players. That's the reason for the negative stats.
2. Yes and yes. The experienced gained from the weapon cannot exceed the hp of the mob.
3. The rest is up in the air. I might have gone with 6 ap so that 3 attacks per turn is not possible. As another negative side effect of this weapon

hahaha that is a crazy weapon!!! I think it's AD should be 0 :lol:

that -80AC and -50BC would be hard to overcome, and would get even tougher when infected by the spiders. 0.o

OP: great idea for a weapon. Seems like a few of the details still needs to be worked on.
