QoL suggestion for fleeing and changing targets.

Right now, to flee you have to hit the Flee button, then choose a direction, and to change targets, or pick a new one if you're in flee mode, you long press an enemy. I find that I often miss whatever I'm trying to touch, ending up attacking and spending AP in a way I hadn't intended.

In order to accommodate my fellow fat-fingered players, I suggest an additional way to target and move: When in combat mode, a fling gesture will make you attack the enemy in that direction if it is already selected, target it if it isn't selected, or move into that square if there is no enemy there.

The only issue I see is that I'm uncertain if you can fling diagonally, and if not, if the system can detect fling left/right and up/down at the same time. If there's no way to capture diagonal movement, then this suggestion becomes moot.

Quality of Life

it refers to changes that don't alter game balance, story lines, or challenge levels, but makes the game easier to play by making systems more intuitive, controls more ergonomic, etc.

or maybe a button that cycles through the available targets?
the highlight could also fall on empty tiles & pressing "Flee" would make the character move.

just kinda brainstorming...

FYI:
You can also move during a battle by longpressing on the space you want to move to.

the space will be highlighted, tap on it again to confirm the move.

to re-enter combat just long press on the NPC you wish to target.

Happy holidays and hunting everyone!
