New Skills: Penetrating Strike and Armor Breaker

Pentrating Strike: Your blows are able to find chinks in your opponents' armor, reducing the effectiveness of their Resistance. Your attacks ignore 2^(n-1) points of Resistance, where n is your number of ranks in Penetrating Strikes.
This skill should have a maximum number of ranks, I'm thinking five would be good. At ranks 1 and 2, this skill will be worse than Hard Hit, because both add ine point of damahe per rank, but this skill doesn't help against enemues with no Resistance, hence the increased benefit at higher ranks. The rank can't be allowed to get too high, or it will quickly trivialize Resistance.
Since the attacks are ignoring Resistance, not reducing it, you can't do extra damage; this slill is uselessagainst foes with no Resistance, and of limited use against ones with low Resistance.
Armor Breaker: Not only are you skilled at finding the weak spots in your opponents' armor, you know how to widen them.
Requires ? ranks in Penetrating Strike and Better Criticals.
When you score a critical hit, you have a 50% chance of inflicting the Rend status. Rend reduces the target's BC and Resistance.
I'm still fairly new at the game, so I'm sketchy with numbers still. I'll let others suggest good values for the effects and prerequisite cost of this skill.

+1 really nice skills. I suggested piercing skill some moth ago... no progress.. i hope that in this time.... I like this idea

Wow, you had some good new ideas!
Penetrating strike: It's a nice effective skill! Piercing the enemy to reduce its dmg resistance would be fun!
But I would reduce the number of steps: With level 5 Penetrating Strike would be too overpowered. The highest dmg resistance is approximately 11, however you shouldn't be able to take all of its dmg resistance. Therefore, I recommend 4 steps.
The skill should maybe have some prerequisites like Hard Hit level 2 and Better Criticals level 1 But that's your decision.
The two other skills are also very interesting but they should also have a maximum amount of steps:
Armor Breaker: Penetrating Strike at level 3 and Better Criticals at level 2
You need 8 skill points for Armor Breaker at level 1, it should be rather strong:
If you deal a critical damage to the opponent, you negate BC at 20% per level. (There are 2 steps in total).
Rend: (5 levels) It should have the same prerequisites as Armor Breaker but with 1 additional Hard Hit or Better Criticals skill point each skill level.
Reduces BC by 5 per level. You have already invented a skill with negated Damage Resistance, so what about negating the Critical Chance or the Critical Multiplier of the opponent?
E.g:
Reduces Critical Chance by 2 per level and reduces Critical Multiplier by 0.2 per level.

Actually, my intention was for Rend to be a status effect inflicted by Armor Breaker, like Internal Bleeding and Fracture. Though I now notice that in both of those cases, the status effect has the same name as the skill that causes it, so maybe the two should have the same name. "Rend" is probably the better choice if they are to share a name.

A skill that nulifies/weakens DR would be a great addition to the game.

That's your decision. I just can suggest you what I think but you invented these awesome skills.

Interesting suggestion,
Just a suggestion but what do you guys think about it effecting DR instead of BC. Like the damage doing to the armor lowers the amount of damage it can reduce?
