There are benifits to picking either side in the game, but here is a list of all items that are sold in each of these two cities:

Prim: Black Water Mountain Settlement:

Pyrizzle, one doesn't need the bed in BWM, after the teleportation task is done...

Also, even though it's sold in BWM, the fatigue restore potion can be bought even if you don't choose a side.

Blackwater iron sword and dagger, and minor potion of speed (best one sold in Prim, imo) can also be obtained through drops from the auleths.

When hunting for the ELyR, having a bed near the top of the mountain can save you a lot of time and energy since sleeping causes the NPCs to respawn (thus killing a lot of waiting)

Yes, you can teleport down to Primm to get to a bed, but you can get that bed either way. The Bed at the top of the mountain can only be unlocked if you side with BWMS.

I updated the list and added markings for the items that can be found in drops and added a lil tag for the Fatigue Restore Potions as well. Thank you for your help

Another thing to consider is if you want the Barbed dagger (chance to cause bleeding wounds) or ring of shadow embrace. For either, you have to kill the other leader and not let them run away.

With dual wielding the dagger could be more useful and its currently the only weapon that causes bleeding wounds.

But if you prefer not to level up a bit, siding with Prim is the only way to buy the cures for bleeding wounds and poison, which can be very helpful.

Another note: the weak poison vials are also dropped by the Wyrm trainers and masters.

What's the difference between the "weak poison antidote" sold at Prim vs the "weak poison" sold by Blackwater? And according the gear list, you can get the Blackwater Poisoned Dagger from drops, but not according to this thread. Does anyone know for sure? Just going over the info as I prepare to choose a side. Thanks.

Weak poison actually poisons you (there's very few uses for that except to kill yourself so you can wake in the last bed you used) and the antidote removes the poison character condition. The blackwater poison dagger can only be purchased.
